Which is the same as me and horses.)Tania Kindersleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18355967725006605825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365244084462704027.post-86508471595265297402012-04-12T23:47:38.771+01:002012-04-12T23:47:38.771+01:00Goldenoldenlady - know what you mean, about the no...Goldenoldenlady - know what you mean, about the noseband, and the riding all day. :)Tania Kindersleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18355967725006605825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365244084462704027.post-18282777909914713462012-04-12T23:41:20.207+01:002012-04-12T23:41:20.207+01:00I do feel sorry for the cows udders!

There is something wonderful about being able to watch a meet like that - it's not poetry in motion, it's raw essence blazing.

And oh - that lovely feeling when you ask for more and it
is just effortlessly given :) Never had it in a horse, but definitely in cars. My first V8 was a Ford XY and it was a fairly raw and gutsy motor. Put my foot down, and he'd leap forward as if he'd been chafing at the bit. Beloved Spouse now has a Chrysler 300C - smooth as silk, you're suddenly waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the speed limit and it's not really noticeable. Fun, but I do prefer the challenge of the XY which needs a lot more work. One of these years I'll start driving his highly modified S series Valiant, who is a real handful!Erikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08181307209370955942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365244084462704027.post-37925989090257271572012-04-12T17:22:26.738+01:002012-04-12T17:22:26.738+01:00I like the sheepskin noseband. Our stars are just that, stars. They blaze and astonish, but they don't any longer (do they?) plod all day long...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13702475308562601190noreply@blogger.com
