Apology.

So sorry there has been no blog for a few days. I have been seized with sadness and did not have the heart to burden you with it. It is a song that many of you have sung yourselves; you know the words.

These two very beautiful, very clever and very kind people have been keeping me going:

  4. You are entitled to be sad and I am sure we all understand, although we miss you and your wonderful writing. I am glad you have your beautiful horses (and Stanley!) to bring you peace and understanding. Take care of yourself and your stepfather. Gill

  9. No apology is ever needed...each of your posts is a gift to us. We're thinking of you and wishing you comfort and the strength to carry your load. "Some things in life cannot be fixed. They can only be carried." - Megan Devine. (She writes about grief and I shared her site with my friend who just lost her husband.)

  10. My Mum died many years ago, and what seemed like a black hole has become a quiet space. It takes time and self-care.
