Apologies

Posted by Tania Kindersley.

I do apologise for going off the air without so much as a word of warning. Most impolite. Also I have not missed a day of blogging since I decided to do the hill every day. I am hanging my head in shame.

There are some fairly good reasons, which I shall not say just now, for reasons that will become clear later. (Watch me, being madly enigmatic.) For the same reasons, I am currently in an undisclosed location. This is not because I have been taken into the witness protection programme (imagine what a blog that would make). In fact, there are no international woman of mystery reasons at all, which is a matter of regret to me, since I have always secretly yearned to be an international woman of mystery. If you could see me, this would make you laugh; I can carry many adjectives (mostly cussed, and flaky, and over-excitable), but mysterious is not one of them.

Anyway, the point is, the undisclosed location has no photographic capability, so there will be no pictures for a week. The hill has been left, ruthlessly abandoned. I can only apologise.

The words, however, will continue.

I have no thrilling thoughts in my head tonight; it is Sunday, and my brain feels like an old mashed-up thing. I still hold the people of Japan in the front of my mind. The word that keeps coming into my thoughts, over and over again, is unimaginable.

  2. What a relief! I was - rather stupidly - worrying about you.

  4. So pleased to hear you are safe and well, and not in formal hiding. It's ridiculous and presumptuous, but I was thinking:'This isn't like Tania. I hope she's ok/everyone in her life is ok.'

It makes me laugh to think I think I know you so well. Deluded!
