BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS - The Impossible Art of Being Female, by Tania Kindersley and Sarah Vine, covered everything from moral relativism to motherhood, feminism to face cream. This blog started as an extension of the book. It has evolved into a personal blog by Tania Kindersley, featuring food, horses, dogs, politics, daily life, random musings, an awful lot of human condition, and occasional moments of whimsy.

It's nice to hear women (or read the writing of women) who offer practical and forgiving advice regarding wobbly bits. I'm 27 and a scrawny, boobless size 8 and my cellulite is still obvious even in allegedly flattering candle light! There's no getting away from it sadly. Lotions and potions are rarely clinically proven to be effective and it's just nice to hear someone saying "maybe just cover up- you'll still look pretty".
ReplyDeleteIt did raise a chuckle when I read "do not run in direct sunlight"- fully appreciating why as someone with an impact-crater backside would, but it made me think of a load of wobbly, cellulite -ridden, vampires stomping about! hee hee :)
