Bonus Post: Do not click on this link if you are in a public place

Posted by Tania Kindersley.

The blog is going to be very late today since I am in a perfect work storm, but I thought I would give you a special Friday lunch break bonus in the meantime.

This is going the rounds on Twitter. It is, without a doubt, the funniest thing I have ever seen on the internet. When I say do not click if you are in a public place, it is because there is a very real danger of crying actual tears of actual laughter. Also: rocking and shouting.

I shrieked so much that the Pigeon thought something terrible and/or thrilling was going on, and hurled herself up onto my chair and started licking my face all over, half in reassurance, half in desire to join in the fun. This made me laugh even more, and frenzy ensued.

I don’t quite know why I find it so funny, but I do. Anyway, I needed the endorphins, and the Pidge had fun too:

  3. Oh my lord, I am in fact rocking and keening with hysterical laughter. Thank you for that! The effect is cumulative-- I can read the first 4 with a straight face, around 6 I start laughing loudly, by 10 I am howling. The Pigeon looks lovely in her photos today.

  4. Luckily only my five year old is with me as tears of laughter flood down my face! ( I can't get the BBC iplayer here, but would like to say how much I enjoyed Sarah's column about the journalist, the politician and the cup of tea!)

  8. The seminary students in the next apartment probably think I'm insane...a crone laughing hysterically on her own. Phooey on them and thanks to you for the cathartic moment. Laughter really is amazingly remedial. Have a great weekend, dear Tania.

  10. Thank you so much for posting this. I cannot remember when i last laughed so much. Out loud. Very early in the morning. In fact, i think i am going to have to read it again. Dear Pigeon IS looking extremely well, and I just knew she had a sense of humour.
