There is a glimmer of hope that Don't Ask, Don't Tell might be on the verge of repeal. I can't resist putting up another Rachel Maddow clip: she is interviewing a gentleman who mightily helped the repeal on its way. Patrick Murphy served in Iraq before he went into politics. His money quote, of the men he fought alongside: 'they did not care if you were writing home to your boyfriend or your girlfriend'.
For his pains, he was rejected by the voters of Pennsylvania in the mid-term election.
