Quote of the day

Posted by Tania Kindersley.

Am considering having a nice new Quote of the Day feature, since so many of the blogs I admire have one, and because everyone loves a quote.

This is from a few days ago, but it bears repeating:

PALIN: But obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies. We’re bound to by treaty –

CO-HOST: South Korean.

PALIN: Eh, yeah. And we’re also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes.

(Via The Daily Dish, and practically everyone else with fingers to type.)

Don't you love that interesting 'also'? North Korea, South Korea, who cares? As long as you know one end of a grizzly bear from the other, you'll be fine.

  1. Oh I really think you should get to know which end of the grizzly means business because the snow will join scotland to russia (look out of your kitchen window) and things could get messy.

  3. And she (Palin) can probably see BOTH Koreas from her window....
This would be more amusing if not for the possibility of this moron getting the Republican presidential nomination in two years' time.

  4. Pat - LOVE the Korea from her house joke. Laughing a lot. More soberly, I do worry about her getting the nomination, but on the other hand, I think she would lose the election. Her followers are loud, but not as numerous as one might think. She does not poll well in the country as a whole. *crosses fingers*
